6 Mini Adventures in Fresno CA | Limousine Service | VIP Transportation

by Office staff on 01/14/20

There is so much to do in Fresno CA.  If you find yourself bored and looking to get out of the house check these fun mini adventures out.

#1 Fresno Chaffee Zoo is located at 894 W Belmont Ave in Fresno.  This Zoo is world class.  Start in the reptile zone in the front of the park then work your way back.  Along your journey you can feed the giraffes,  watch the monkeys get mischievous and even pet a manta ray.  Don't miss out the newest attraction near the back called African Adventure.  This is set up where the animals can roam free and you can see them in a more natural habitat.

#2 Forestiere Underground Gardens is located at 5021 W Shaw Ave off the 99 freeway in Fresno CA.  This place has a magic that has to be experienced.  Take a stroll with a tour guide through underground rooms all interlinked over ten acres.  You will find lots of fruit trees and plantation that is close to 90 years old.  At one point in the tour you are 25 feet below ground with temperatures in the low 30's.  This is truly a must.

#3 The Japanese Gardens in Woodward park is located at 114 E Audubon Dr in North Fresno.  If you want to feel real serenity you must check this out.  This beautiful 5 acre garden has a large selection of bonsai trees, a lake with a Japanese style bridge and best of all living peacocks roaming about.  This makes a great date spot.

#4  The Discover Zone is located at 1937 N Winery Ave in Fresno.  If you are looking for place to take the kids, this is the spot.  This history and science center offers hands on experiences to both young and old.  You can start with the desert tortoise then trek your way over to the Indian village where you can learn all about the tribes that have inherited our lands for generations.

#5 Island Water Park is located at 6099 W Barstow Ave in Fresno right off of the 99 freeway.  If you are looking to beat the heat while mixing in some thrills then this is for you.  Fresno is not located on the coast and that's okay, especially when you have a monstrous sized wave pool accessible just inside the park.  Grab a tube and go hit the waves.  If you are not tired from riding the tides, then head over to one of the skyscraper sized water slides where you can revisit your youth just seconds before you splash into bubbling pool of water.  After a day here you will sleep like a baby.

#6 The Tower District is located on Olive avenue in Fresno CA.  Home to many restaurants, breweries and nightlife, the historic Tower District is a must see for anyone who is looking to get out and see the town.  Mardi Gras Parade, big New Years Eve parties, the Rouge Festival and the Pride Parade are all major attractions that bring large crowds together in the name of celebration.  Play pool, drink beer and do some dancing.
